I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I won’t be afraid. You are with me, and your shepherd’s rod makes me feel safe. ~ Psalm 23:4 (CEV) – Biblical Truth: Christ is our shepherd providing comfort to His flock, He protects and guides us through the darkest times. When Moses made excuses to God, God said ‘What is that in your hand?’ — It’s easy to list the things we cannot do for God, but the better question is What has He given you that you can and must use for His Kingdom? — Now Go! Pick up your staff! And know that God is with you!
Then he said, I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. ~ Matthew 18:3-4 NLT

Today’s selection from the book of Proverbs begs the question; ‘Is it worth it?’ Are the things that command your time, talent and energy really worth it? — The Message paraphrases it like this: You don’t want to end your life full of regrets, nothing but sin and bones, Saying, ‘Oh, why didn’t I do what they told me? Why did I reject a disciplined life? Why didn’t I listen to my mentors, or take my teachers seriously? My life is ruined! I haven’t one blessed thing to show for my life!’
How have you seen mountains move as a result of faith the size of a mustard seed?

What a comfort it is that Christ is nearby, that through His word and touch of grace He is able to remove the clouds of fear. — While Peter was still speaking, the shadow of a bright cloud passed over them. From the cloud a voice said, ‘This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with him. Listen to what he says!’ When the disciples heard the voice, they were so afraid that they fell flat on the ground. But Jesus came over and touched them. He said, ‘Get up and don’t be afraid!’ ~ Matthew 17:5-7 (CEV) http://365fearnots.com/index.php/matthew-1705-07/
Are you willing to die to self each day and give up everything for Jesus? What is He calling you to surrender today? — ‘Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.’ ~ Matthew 16:24-25 (KJV)
